Hunting - Nature Reserve in Tuscany

The S.Ippolito hunting reserve, in Val di Cecina in the Borough of Pomarance near to Volterra,  extends over 500 hestares of woodland. It  borders with Monterufoli estate, which breeds wild boar that live in the wild. Wild boar hunting is held on this estate. This hunting reserve in Tuscany carefully maintains the traditional rites of hunting expeditions. Hunters visiting the estate can arrive on Friday evening  with an overnight stay and evening meal at the agriturism. Early Saturday morning, over breakfast, guests receive details regarding the days program and lots are drawn for the places. Hunting begins after breakfast and finishes at 14.00 for lunch in the agriturism. On Sunday morning, as Saturday, hunters receive their instructions for the day’s hunt  before leaving the agriturism Guado al Sole. The hunting is very good and there is no limit of animals per hunter.  The hunts are organized every weekend during the hunting season.  Price of hunt Euro 150.00 including breakfast and organisation of the hunt. Overnight stay  Euro 30.00 per person, lunch or supper Euro 30.00.
